nigel jarvis
An important step for me as a photographer was joining london independent photography, being able to share and gain feedback on work, meeting a real mixture of different creative photographers and artists. The opportunity to see their work and hear them talk about their work is very important to my own development, which is ongoing.
My approach to photography has been influenced by many iconic photographers and artists, including Gursky. Egglestone, Baltz, Kenna, Weston, Rothko, Harry Callahan and many others not so well known.
